Yep. It's a small 16th century portrait painted after her death as a celebration of who she was; Henry's mother. It has written at the top of the portrait 'Elizabeth mater Henricus 8'. I can't find a similar one on line, but will take a photo once it's been unveiled. It looks like the more famous paintings of her but she isn't holding the white rose of York. I think she also looks softer in this one.

A photo would be great! Thanks! Will have to plan a trip to Hever once it is unveiled.

The article also mentioned:

Visitors will also see a representation of the complete collection of portraits of the six wives of King Henry VIII.

Have you seen these? Are they usually at Hever? Are they copies of the famous portraits of the six wives or different ones?

Thanks.

The vast majority are 16th century English school in the style of the more famous portraits. I will search and give you urls to the ones I locate online. Otherwise I'm in tomorrow at 8am to get the castle ready for our opening day of the season so I'll get photos then.
